The Happiest Man

The oldest man in the world? The happiest man alive? A yoga genius? Who is Swami Sivananda? He was born in 1896 and has lived through three centuries! Full of life, energy, and a charm, 123-year-old Swami Sivananda is a rare look at purity, simplicity, and happiness. He laughs when asked if this generation can live to his age “No, not possible. This is the kalyug and everyone is too greedy!” Passport authorities of India verified his age from a temple register. Even today most Indians only have a temple register as a birth record! He lost his parents at 6, both on the same day, and was brought up by a man who showed him the joys of Yoga!

Thank you Anne and Bart Walton for this find
