Find The More Beautiful Question To Ask

After all the name of the blog is Living the Question.

So why not consider……

A single good question can change the trajectory of most things because it breaks a pattern.

A conversation with yourself, a work project, a disagreement between you and a partner or friend—these situations can all be improved with a better question.

This is because, as relationship therapist, Esther Perel puts it, “A good question changes the story.”

This empowering realization means it’s possible, with practice, to steer the course of a conversation to achieve a better outcome.

A better outcome doesn’t always mean a serious one, like a great decision made. Sometimes it’s to lighten the mood, or just explore the unknown with someone new.

For this week, make a vow to put the “How are you?” and the dreaded “What do you do for a living?” away. Get creative with the questions you ask.

Thank you friends at Banyan  for this insight
